Rancho Campo Verde

RCV Morgan Farm is located in Northeastern Florida, approximately 30 miles Southwest of Jacksonville. We are a small, family farm that started with the purchase of 10 acres of land, a small home and three-stall barn. Originally a diversion from life in the city, the farm was a chance to fulfill a lifelong dream of living in the country with horses, cattle and open space.

We acquired our first Morgan, Langtry's Wahoo, in 1991. He was beautiful, spirited, graceful and kind. He was the epitome of the Morgan horse. Whatever we asked of him he was willing to do, from trail riding, to rounding up cattle, pleasure driving or showing. He was game for it all.

Morgan horses grew from a hobby into a passion. Their beauty, style, grace and tractability made it clear that they were to be a major part of our lives. In 1999 we decided to start a breeding operation. Our first foal, RCV Noble Wish (Three Wishes x Stonecroft Chloe) was born in January of 2000.

pic of the FarmRancho Campo Verde has also grown from the original 10 acres into a 140- acre farm. It still has the original farmhouse, the same three-stall barn, with an added foaling stall, a new hay barn, and in 2003 the addition of a modern twelve-stall barn.

Today RCV Morgans consists of a small band of broodmares descended from some of the greatest lines in the Morgan breed. Our goal is that of breeding quality, athletic horses with that same beauty, grace, and spirit that are characteristic of the Morgan. We remain a small farm, breeding a limited number of mares each year, and choosing sires that are some of the best in the breed.

We invite you to view our website and enjoy a virtual visit of our farm. We welcome your input, and hope to hear from you in the future.
